Digital Learning

Digital Learning
WALT: evaluate our digital learning
I learnt about many unique applications with the use of chromebook.
Miss Payton told me how to use my blog but Mrs Cochrane helped me the most and told me about different applications.
The digital learning helped me do my homework online, posting my work on blogger, getting and answering emails from Mrs Cochrane and sending work to Mrs Cochrane.

In a digital class we worked as a collaborative classroom and I used the chromebook wisely in class .
I took  good care of the chromebook and I went  on the right website on my  chromebook.
With chromebook information are handy, you can retrieve them anytime  when you need it.
I learnt how to post on my blogger account, and how to use applications.
I felt included and important when we work collaboratively in groups, it was a really nice experience for me .

My Psalm

My Psalm
I praise you O gracious god for your aroha
You have saved me from my sins
You have forgiven me for the wrong things I have
done
You have shown my family peace and wisdom
Thank you for your love and care you've shared with me
and others .

Flower Reproduction

Flower Reproduction
Flower reproduction is a system where plants make new seeds. This involves male and female parts of the flower . The system of flower reproduction is broken into 2 parts pollination and fertilisation. Pollination is the process whereby pollens move into the pistil. Pollens stick into the male reproductive cell, the stamen. The female reproductive cell is the pistil . The flower relies on the pollinators, insects like bees are called pollinators. Bees are attracted to the bright colors of the flower. Honey bees are attracted to the sweet juicy nectar that the flowers produce. As the honey bee moves from flower to flower, grains of pollen gets stuck to the pollinators. Or sometimes the grain of pollen stuck to the pollinator falls off and lands on the pistil , the female part of the flower. There are many pollinators like birds, humans, wind, butterflies and water. When the grain of pollen has landed on the female part the flower, the flower has been pollinated . The next step is fertilisation .

The pollen goes through a tube and meets up with the egg. The pollen combines with the egg which turns into a seed. This grows into an adult plant. Flower reproduction are done in 2 processes, pollination and fertilization.
